they're one of my favourite Indonesian bands...

no doubt, Indonesia produces a lot of talented musicians...i really2 jealous of them...no,really..i mean it...hhahahaha

so, SO7 started to amuse me since i was 12 years old (darjah 6 la tat time)...

began with "Sephia" and later featured as soundtrack in Malaysian drama with "Berhenti berharap"..

Sheila on 7 is the name of a popular Indonesian music band from Yogyakarta. They had changed their formation several times since their formation on the 6th May 1996. Their first formation consisted of Akhdiyat Duta Modjo (Vocals), Saktia Ari Seno (Guitar), Eross Candra (Guitar), Adam Muhammad Subarkah (Bass) and Anton Widiastanto (Drum). Their current formation (2006) consists of Akhdiyat Duta Modjo (Vocal), Adam Muhammad Subarkah (Bass), Eross Candra (Guitar) and Brian Kresno Putro (Drums). Eross Candra is currently working on his solo/side-project band calledJagostu, the upcoming album is scheduled to be released on June 2007 via Sony BMG Indonesia.

they are very talented and what makes them one of the best Indonesian group ever is their originality.

at the very beginning, Duta describes their sounds were more to indie-punk...

but, later, through many albums and soundtracks, they started to be matured...

in the sense of the sound's atmosphere...

they started to sound more "pop-ish" and their lyrics were really catchy, and radio-friendly..

this song,"mudah saja" tells us about how a couple break-up and could easily forget about their other half....

even though their half have done so many things to please their partners...

simply, this song is a sad song...

and after listening to this song, i always have a thought about people around me...

do they really appreciate me?

do they really appreciate everything that i've done with them?

forget about the nasty things, everyone knows that we can't forget anything bad that had happened to us...

but i'm talking about good deeds here...

how about you?

do have a feelings where sometimes you felt abandoned by others?

after you've sacrifice your time...

energy...

money...

but after a while, after they've got what they want, they dump you...

honestly, i'm ok with that...

what is more important to me is, i've done my best...

we done it with sincere heart...

honesty...

sometimes, we don't really seek for rewards...

sometimes, we do it because we want to do it...

because of Allah S.W.T...

it doesn't matter, whether we get back the rewards or not...

yang penting ikhlas...
